Foundations for Wellbeing: Mindset, Self-Care & Empowerment
A series of workshops designed to stand alone or be enjoyed as part of a connected journey. Each session explores different aspects of wellbeing, with mindset and self-care running throughout, and can be attended in any order or on its own. Session 2: The Mind-Body Connection:Understanding Chronic Pain
This session explores how stress, emotions, and the nervous system influence chronic pain. Participants will learn how flare ups can be amplified by fight or flight responses and practise a simple grounding tool to help regulate the nervous system and feel more in control.
Participants will leave with:
- A clear understanding of how stress and tension can influence pain
- One practical grounding tool to calm the nervous system
- A simple self care practice to support their body during flare ups
- A sense of reassurance and empowerment
