About this Event
Join Compass Point, home of Dirty Girl Adventures, for some time on the trail! Join us to explore the Woodridge Primitive Use Area at Clinton Lake. This 4-mile looping trail has some great scenery and views of the lake. We are very likely to see some Eagles and possibly some beaver if we're lucky.
Time on the trail isn't just a fun activity. The benefits of getting outside are backed by research. Spending just one hour interacting with nature has been shown to improve memory span and attention levels by 20%. Time outside can lower your cortisol levels, reducing stress, and when you take the time to connect with nature, you also cultivate awe, and that brings optimism and positivity into your heart.
