Join us for our 3rd Annual Women & Children's Fishing Clinic. This fun and informative event features instruction from local fishing experts leading small group break-out sessions where participants will receive first-hand instruction on equipment and techniques. Each registered participant will receive a fishing rod, reel, tackle box, small group instruction, and light refreshments. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to Meals by Grace.Please note that this is not a drop-in event and requires registration. Arrive by 9:45 to give yourself plenty of time to get parked, check in, and set up for the opening session beginning promptly at 10:00 AM! Instructional sessions will wrap up at 1:00 PM.
Fishing Clinic Requirements:
*Children under the age of 16 must have an adult present.
*Georgia law requires anglers age 16 and older to have a current Georgia fishing license in their possession while fishing in fresh or salt water in Georgia. Licenses may be purchased online, in person at participating locations, or by phone. You can find more info on obtaining a fishing license here.
*Wear sunscreen and dress appropriately for the conditions. Remember, Georgia weather is unpredictable!
*Although we will have light refreshments and water on hand, we will not provide lunch for this event.
***Registration cut-off is April 22, 2026, at midnight.
