We are going to teach you how to safely can chicken (this will apply to most all different kinds of meat). You will cut up your chicken, put it in jars and we will process them in the pressure canner. While the jars are processing, we will have a delicious lunch of chicken salad (made from my own canned chicken) and talk about the basics of a pressure canner. They aren't your grandmothers pressure canner!!!You will leave with a happy belly and a jar of chicken you canned yourself as well as a better understanding of pressure canning meat. And, as always at The Shed - FM Homestead we will have a delicious herbal beverage. Class size is limited to 8
