Participants are invited to reflect on what wants to emerge. This may take the form of a word, phrase, symbol, drawing, mark, or image that holds personal meaning. Using underglaze materials, participants will paint directly onto a pre-made bisque-fired ceramic slab, allowing intuition, gesture, and curiosity to guide the process rather than focusing on technical perfection.
This workshop encourages slowing down, tuning in, and exploring clay as a surface for thought, memory, and feeling. Once complete, each piece will be finished with a transparent glaze to preserve and enhance the work beneath.
All pieces will be professionally fired and fitted with hanging hardware by Zana, and will be available for pickup at a later date.
Open to all ages and skill levels, this workshop offers a welcoming, low-pressure environment to experiment, reflect, and create a meaningful ceramic piece to live with on your wall.
