The Washington Balalaika Orchestra presents a program featuring solos performed by our own musicians on Russian folk instruments, Western winds, and for the first time a bandura--the national instrument of Ukraine. We will play music from a variety of composers, genres and time periods, from Danse Macabre to "Love Is Blue," to a medley of Ukrainian folk songs.
