For the ninth year running, Diaspora Arts Connection, in collaboration with the Iranian American Women Foundation, is proud to present Let Her Sing 2025: A Celebration of Female Voices, marking our third event in Los Angeles. Eight female vocalists and a group of exceptional musicians will come together on Sunday, September 14, 2025 to celebrate the female voice, suppressed, censored, and threatened in parts of the world. Join us for an evening of exciting music and solidarity for the female voice. Our lineup this year is comprised of Evin Şah (Kurdish from Turkey, based in San Francisco), Golrokh Aminian (Iranian-Canadian, based in San Jose), Meghan Kabir (Afghan-American, based in Nashville), Monicki (Iranian, based in Boston), Sheenub (Iranian from Bushehr, based in Los Angeles), Shokufeh (Iranian-American, based in Los Angeles), Xye ( Greek, Russian, and Armenian, based in Los Angeles), and Special Guest Sussan Deyhim (Iranian-American based in New York).
