About this Event
LET HER COOK is a multi sensory artistic experience connecting imagery and sensation of dance with thematic feelings evoked from specific foods.
Structured like a three course meal, you will be served bread, vegetables, carbs, protein, and dessert. Chefs from some of New York’s top Michelin kitchens have crafted dishes that have deeply layered connections to the content of the three new dance works you will watch. These dishes have also been creatively prepared to, at times, be plated while the dancers are still performing.
Sat in the round and staying hydrated along the way, this 90 minute presentation will naturally engage all of your senses, encourage moments of connection with neighbors, and leave you holistically satisfied.
After each performance we invite you to join us out on the roof for wine or a smoke. Following the 2:30 performance should be a decadent sunset and following the 6:00 performance you will most definitely find me out there soaking up the full moon.
This presentation has been thoughtfully designed by Kaylen Tanner (dance artist and alumni of Gabriel Kreuther, Kent Hospitality, Polo Bar) and Chef Devika Manchanda (Gabriel Kreuther, Le Bernadin).
