Families and friends are invited to join us at STIX Icehouse in McKinney as we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day with a fun, family-friendly taco night! Space is limited, so tickets must be purchased in advance. To ensure we stay within venue capacity, every person attending must have a ticket, regardless of whether they plan to eat.
Stix Icehouse offers 14 acres of fun with activities the whole family will enjoy, including cornhole, ping pong, disc golf, wiffle ball, soccer, and more. Live music on the porch every Thursday through Sunday makes evenings at STIX the perfect way to unwind. On busy nights, families are encouraged to bring their own chairs so everyone can find a cozy spot in the yard to enjoy the sunshine and good times.
The taco bar will feature flour tortillas, chicken, roasted peppers and grilled onions, pico de gallo, seasoned sour cream, salsa verde, warm red salsa, white queso, and chips. Beverages including water, tea, soda, and lemonade are included, and a cash bar will be available for alcoholic drinks sold separately.
Registration closes Sunday, March 8, or once the event reaches capacity. Families are welcome to visit the restaurant, purchase food independently, enjoy the outdoor activities, and listen to live music; however, only guests with a DSG ticket will be able to participate in the taco bar and Lolly's Dance Hall private room. We can’t wait to gather, celebrate, and taco ’bout Down syndrome together!
