💥ABOUT US: ECGMS Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to exploring, learning, and sharing the wonders of the Earth.
💎We are a community of Rockhound Souls, mineral collectors, lapidary artists, and metaphysical enthusiasts who believe in connecting with nature, supporting education, and spreading positive energy. From local digs in Connecticut and Herkimer Diamonds in New York to group trips across the country, we create opportunities to learn hands-on about geology, fossils, and minerals while building lasting friendships.
💍Our society hosts two Gem, Mineral, Jewelry & Fossil Shows each year, which help fund:
• Educational programs and youth workshops
• Rockhounding trips and field excursions
• Club equipment (like tumblers, rock saw and cabbing machines) for members to learn and use
• Community outreach and nonprofit operations
