On February 2 each year many people wait with anticipation for a groundhog to emerge from its den to find out if it will see its shadow. The lore says that this act predicts whether the cold and darkness of winter will continue or the light and warmth of spring will emerge.So, in our modern age with technology to predict weather what can we learn from the lore surrounding the groundhog?
Alexandra will share aspects of this annual ritual and ideas about how it can relate to our own shadow self. She invites us to consider identify any repeating patterns of thought and behaviour that may prevent us from experiencing a season in which new life and light spring forth.
