New Westminster Museum and Archives holds 230,000 photographs documenting scenes from the city’s history and its people. By critically examining photographs, both familiar and unseen, we can better understand the role photographs may play in creating a more genuine picture of New Westminster’s history. We can look again and reframe our knowledge about the city by highlighting its marginalized stories.Join us as we introduce the exhibition and begin this conversation. Light refreshments provided.
This exhibition is part of the 2025 Capture Photography Festival Selected Exhibition Program.
