Things and Their Images and Things Which Cast No Shadow
Leo Zuckerman
Leo Zuckerman's debut monograph, Things and Their Images and Things Which Cast No Shadow, is a personal archive gathered over seven years. Stolen moments between takes on film productions across the globe, the texture of places passed through, and the private moments that pass without ceremony.
It is, finally, about memory: the photograph as evidence, the mind as storyteller, and the gap between them where meaning lives.
Leo Zuckerman is a director and photographer whose images are drawn from the intimacy of the unguarded moment. For Zuckerman, the photograph is both artifact and provocation: faithful to what was there, yet alive to how memory builds meaning around it long after the shutter closes.
