In this 9th annual iteration, Mark is joined by Dave Thompson (bass) and Emma Yeo Flowerdew (singing).
Lent is about radical self-examination — a time to look at the things we spend our time and money on and consider whether they matter in the long run. For Christians, it's time to ask what we'd need to leave behind to follow the path of humility Jesus leads us on.

Growing up in Dartmouth NS, young Mark was an eager composer and multi-instrumentalist. After feeling convinced to abandon his engineering studies to pursue music, Mark released the album Lenten Carols (2016), an eclectic mix of songs inspired by Lent. His second album, Let’s Go (2021), is sunshiny, old-timey, and theatrical, finding childlike delight in the meandering journey of walking with God. Let’s Go was nominated for an ECMA for “Inspirational Recording of the Year.”
