Adam Hamilton’s book, Why Did Jesus Have to Die?, we’ll dive into the New Testament’s rich imagery and metaphors surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection, uncovering the deeper meaning behind Christ’s atoning work on the cross.Together, we’ll discuss various Theories of Atonement and reflect on how Jesus’ death and resurrection bring reconciliation, restoration, and hope. This study will deepen your understanding of God’s saving work and add meaning to your Lenten journey.
