Lemon Bucket Orkestra: A Post-Halloween Resurrection
The night after Halloween, when the ghosts have gone home and the sugar rush has faded, we're bringing the party back from the dead. On November 1st, Hamilton's Corktown Pub will be resurrected by the raw power of Lemon Bucket Orkestra!
For over 15 years, these Toronto-based guerrilla-folk-party-punks have been a 10-piece juggernaut, tearing up stages and streets worldwide. They're a whirlwind of exhilarating precision and reckless abandon, a sonic signature that blends Ukrainian polyphony and Balkan rhythms with hip hop, punk, and jazz.
Prepare yourself for an immersive experience that goes beyond just a concert. This is a show where sweat and tears mix with audience chorales and howling at the moon. It's an explosion of sound born from their global journeys and the rich, multicultural tapestry of their hometown.
Kicking off the night is local hero, Tarek Funk, Syrian Palestinian manifesting Hip-Hop, Funk, Afrobeat, and blending different cultures and genres of liberation music.
