Persian-Jewish female composer Leila Anna Naderi, also known as award-winning powerhouse vocalist Leila Neverland, is set to take the stage this May 16th, 2024 atop Vancouver’s finest. “Over striking piano lines, grandiose drums and swaying cello, singer and composer Leila Neverland weaves narrative lyrics within powerful vocals to pull audiences in and keep them engaged throughout the group’s performance” (Revelstoke Review).
Travelling with her are her two favourite guys, Vancouver players Emilio Suarez on cello and Neil Gray on drums. The trio is making their way out to the island for a mini flash tour including a stop at UVic’s student radio station and an underground mid-May Festival in Victoria.
