LEGO STOP-MOTION MOVIE MAKING WORKSHOP - This fun and creative Lego Masterclass is a fantastic introduction to the colourful world of Lego stop-motion animation!
Children will work together in small teams to plan, build, and create a short animated Lego film using iPads. Each child will have a chance to share ideas and contribute — whether that’s designing characters, building sets, moving the Lego models, recording sounds, or helping with titles and effects.
Using special, child-friendly iPad apps, participants will bring their Lego stories to life with movement, sound effects, visual effects, and imagination. Along the way, they’ll learn how teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving help make a great film.
Children can bring their own Lego characters or use the Lego provided by us. At the end of the session, each team will have created a completed animated film, and a copy of the finished animation will be shared so they can proudly show their work.
These workshops are designed to be inclusive, collaborative, and confidence-building, encouraging children to work together, respect each other’s ideas, and enjoy the magic of animation as a team.
