A day where not only are Waikato Thoroughbred Racing's two Group 1 features run and won, it's also a celebration of racing legends throughout history with eight racetrack champions now living the retired life set to grace Te Rapa with their presence.

Bringing the younger members of the tribe? We'll have kids entertainment available on the Front Lawn including a bouncy castle and you can pick up a free kids pack from the Raceday Office as well.
Those aforementioned Group 1 features are the G1 Herbie Dyke Stakes and the G1 BCD Sprint and they are supported by not one, but two Group 2 races - the David & Karyn Ellis Fillies Classic and the Legacy Lodge Waikato Guineas - plus 5 other races on the card.
