If you've ever wondered what secrets lie hidden in the streets of La Tacita de Plata, this free tour is just for you. Throughout this tour, we’ll explore the most enigmatic places in the city and dive into stories full of mystery, unexplained phenomena, and legends that have shaped the history of Cadiz — all guided by a local expert.
We’ll begin our walk by La Caleta Beach, known not only for its beauty but also for the paranormal events surrounding it, such as strange UFO sightings near the Castle of San Sebastian, which dates back to 1706. From there, we’ll head to the Faculty of Economics, formerly a hospital with a dark past, where students and staff have witnessed inexplicable noises, strange lights, and doors that open on their own.
The city also holds the mystery of old legends surrounding the Gran Teatro Falla, where it's said that some souls still linger after perishing in a fire over a century ago.
We’ll continue through Plaza de San Antonio, home to the Aramburu Palace, famous for the tale of a spirit that keeps playing the piano even after death. On Calle Novena, we’ll stop by a light bulb that has been shining for over 90 years — a fascinating symbol linked to the Cadiz Carnival.
We'll also explore Plaza de Candelaria, where we’ll uncover mysterious underground cisterns once used for clandestine purposes and even as secret meeting spots for the Freemasons.
We won’t leave out the incredible story of Carlos Cuarteroni, a man from Cadiz whose life inspired the creation of Sandokán. We’ll end our journey at the Cadiz City Hall, formerly the Hospital de la Misericordia, where strange events and ghostly sightings have also been reported.

- Parking: Due to the difficulty of finding parking in the historic center of Cadiz, here are some nearby parking options that may be useful: 1. Parking Canalejas-San Juan. 2. Parking Saba Estación Tren Cádiz. 3. Parking Muelle Pesquero.
- Please show your booking (printed or on your phone) to the Paseando por Europa guide at the meeting point.
- Groups of more than 6 adults, even if they have made separate bookings under different names, must pay €8 per adult. Otherwise, they will not be accepted on the tour and the guide may ask them to leave.
- A minimum of 5 people is required per tour. If the minimum is not met, we will notify you to modify your booking.
- There are many tour companies in the square, so please ask for your Paseando por Europa guide.
