华府“京剧之花”将于2026年6月14日公演大型京剧《太真外传》全本。这是京剧之花继2023年在美国首都华盛顿地区公演全本《白蛇传》引起轰动之后，再次携手美东京剧名家名票，一起打造同一个剧目中的京剧人物艺术形象。

《太真外传》是京剧大师梅兰芳创排的古装新戏，于1925年搬上舞台，是梅派艺术的重要代表作品之一。剧本取材于唐朝诗人白居易《长恨歌》、清朝剧作家洪昇《长生殿》等文学作品，讲述中国四大美女之一的杨玉环一生的传奇故事，特别她是与唐明皇李隆基从相遇相知、宠冠六宫到被迫自尽，可谓长恨一曲千古谜，长恨一曲千古思。该剧是梅兰芳古装新戏中的重要作品，以机关布景、创制新腔、歌舞并重而著称 。凭借此剧的成功演出，梅兰芳声名大振， 1927年荣膺京剧“四大名旦“榜首。
《太真外传》全剧四本。梅大师首演百年之后，“京剧之花“ 公演将该剧主要剧情浓缩在7折戏里奉献给美国大华府的观众，敬请期待。
