Legato Memory Café welcomes people experiencing dementia or other cognitive changes and their care partners/loved ones. This monthly gathering fosters connection and support through social engagement while enjoying light refreshments, followed by an activity/craft (rotates monthly). Legato Memory Café meets in Allesee Hall, located within The Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center.10:30-11 AM: Refreshments & Social Time
11 AM - Noon: Activity/Craft
February's Activity: Board-certified music therapist Dr. Jody Conradi Stark joins us on February 17th. Music evokes memories and emotions, fostering mood and connection with others. Participants and care partners/loved ones will engage in music listening, active music making with hand-held rhythm instruments, gentle movement to music, and singing familiar songs.
March's Activity: Join us on March 17 for St. Patrick's Day festivities, featuring a sing along with live Irish music, and a few rounds of LUCKY Bingo!
Although participation is free, registration is encouraged. Parking and arrival instructions will be emailed to registered participants 48 hours in advance.

- Memory Cafés are community-based gatherings that provide safe, inclusive environments for people experiencing dementia or other cognitive changes, along with their care partners.
- Through storytelling, music, movement, visual art, and more, these spaces foster joy, reduce stigma, and help people feel seen and supported.
- They do not require a medical diagnosis to attend.
