The City of Columbia's Office of Business Opportunities will be hosting the Legal Foundations of a Small Business workshop on Thursday, December 4th beginning at 10:00AM!
Aaron Taylor, founder of Cedar Tree Ventures Consulting will be the featured speaker for this event and will provide small business owners important information to navigate the legal side of running a small business! During this workshop, participants will:
- Have a clear understanding of entity types (LLC, S-corps, etc.) and the pros and cons.
- Knowledge of essential formation documents.
- A breakdown of the function and structore of operating agreements and internal governance.
- Real-world legal scenarios and Q&A tailored to Columbia-area entrepreneurs.
- Actionable insignts into how legal structure ties into business growth and investment readiness.
