About this Event
On February 1st, Freedom House is partnering with The Stretch Society, a members-only wellness series, to host a powerful wellness event titled “Legacy in Motion” during Black History Month. The Stretch Society is a Pilates + social experience for those who love movement, culture, and connection. Each invite-only event blends Pilates, music, and conversation, curated for the individuals redefining what wellness looks like.
During a time when mental health, stress, and burnout deeply impact our communities, Legacy in Motion serves as a needed pause, a chance to reset, reconnect, and take care of our bodies through movement and shared wellness. The event is open to guests of all backgrounds and genders. Guests are required to wear all black as a symbol of unity, strength, and grounding.
The experience includes a 40–45 minute mat Pilates session followed by a mixer where participants can enjoy food, music, and engage with a few curated vendor tables.
Pilates is a low impact strength workout and not just stretching. Please ensure you are medically cleared to participate if necessary before registering.
