Join us for an enlightening evening with Prof. Delvyn Case as he uncovers the often-overlooked contributors to classical music history. Roll over, Beethoven! The world of classical music is rich with a diverse array of composers whose innovative sounds continue to inspire audiences today.


In this captivating lecture, you will discover the stories of a visionary medieval nun who transformed church music and the "Black Mozart," who captivated Colonial-era audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Through their remarkable contributions, you’ll gain a fresh perspective on classical music that will change the way you listen forever!


Delvyn Case serves as Professor of Music at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, where he conducts the Great Woods Symphony Orchestra and teaches music history and theory. His compositions have been performed by over 100 orchestras globally, including the Boston Pops, and by several Grammy-winning artists.
