Ali Droby is a PhD student in Physics at the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center, focusing on the control and structuring of light at the nanoscale to realize groundbreaking physical phenomena. With previous experience in optical levitation and manipulation, Ali has demonstrated the ability to levitate microscopic particles and accelerate them to remarkable speeds—all using just light.
