Living historian Noah Lewis will discuss the life and accomplishments of Edward “Ned” Hector, an African-American Revolutionary War soldier who fought at the Battle of Brandywine as an artilleryman. Noah will portray Ned in the first-person, and will discuss his life and experiences during the war.Noah has been portraying Ned Hector since 1996, and has brought his story to life for thousands of people at schools, museums, festivals and commemorative events. Noah’s presentations are always incredibly engaging, entertaining and educational. This is an ideal program for families and history buffs of all ages.
Noah's program will be held at the Arsenal, 30 Market Street in New Castle.
