On February 25 at 2:30 p.m., Annamarie V. Sandecki, Freelance Curator and Jewelry Historian, from Tampa, Florida will present “The Gilded Age Jewel Box: 1876–1900.” She will discuss the jewelry gifted to and worn by wealthy women during America’s Gilded Age. For 30 years Annamarie was the Director of the Tiffany & Co. Archives and Heritage Collection responsible for both maintaining the company’s historic records and acquiring vintage jewelry, watches, silver hollowware, and objets d’art for the firm’s museum. The lecture, free and open to the public, takes place in the McKean Pavilion, 161 West Canton Avenue (just behind the Museum).
