Learning to Live Together: The Return of Mad Dogs and Englishmen
Join NYU Tulsa and the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts and Culture for a free screening of Jesse Lauter's documentary Learning to Live Together: The Return of Mad Dogs and Englishmen. The film chronicles the Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2015 reunion tribute to Joe Cocker’s legendary 1970 "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" tour. It explores the history of the original chaotic tour while featuring interviews with surviving members, including the last interview with Tulsa music icon Leon Russell, pioneer of the Tulsa Sound.
Director Jesse Lauter will join us for a conversation moderated by Teresa Knox, CEO of The Church Studio.
