Are you ready to take your yoga practice to the next level? Arm balances & inversions can be exciting, fun, and incredibly empowering postures to add to your yoga practice.In these sessions we'll delve into some of the traditional arm balances & inversions (such as Crow Pose, Eight-Angle Pose, Shoulderstand, Headstand), break them down, review the variations & modifications, then learn how to use them in a safe, sensible and accessible way. We'll also include a yoga practice in each session to incorporate what we've just learned and complete the experience.
Session 1 (6/16): Focus will be on Four-Limbed Staff Pose (Chaturanga), Crow, Side Crow, Shoulder Stand & Plough, Headstand
Session 2 (6/23): Focus will be on Chaturanga, Side Plank, Eight-Angle Pose, Shoulder Stand & Plough, Headstand
Session 3 (6/30): Focus will be on Chaturanga, Wide-Leg Arm Balance, Crow, Reverse Plank, Should Stand & Plough,Headstand
You can do any session you want, or all 3 for the complete series. Previous yoga experience is suggested. Number of participants will be limited for more personal attention and safety. Please join us for this playful & powerful series!
