The world is changing, and as schools innovate to meet that change, we should be supporting tauira to choose what they learn, and work in real-world contexts to reach their goals.
At Albany Senior High School, Impact Projects are a major focus for this, providing on-site time and support for students to pursue their passions. But, we know every school is taking up this wero in different ways, so we want to share how we do it, and learn from what other schools do, bringing in voices from around the motu.
Conference attendees will hear from Dr. Mark Osborne from Leading Learning, speaking about leading change that sticks. You'll get insights into how Albany Senior High School runs our project-based learning, and we want to hear from other kura, to see how different schools are facing the challenges of teaching students in the modern world.
