Join us with former ambassador Leigh Turner to hear about the modern diplomatic tradecraft driving states and influencing their people.
About this Event

Leigh Turner is a former British ambassador, most recently leading posts in Ukraine, Trukey and Austria. Throughout his career, Leigh has also held posts in Russia, Germany, the British Indian Ocean (and Antarctic) Territories.

From diplomatic immunity and cocktail parties to secrecy and surveillance, join us for an evening with Leigh to learn how diplomatic tradecraft drives today's evolving international landscape. Through personal insight from his new book, "Lessons in Diplomacy: Politics, Power and Parties", Leigh will dive into the opportunities and challenges faced by diplomats today and how understanding, influencing and learning from people is at the heart of modern statecraft. After the event, Leigh will sign copies of his book, which will be on sale throughout the evening.

Join us to hear about the lived reality of diplomatic tradecraft through the eyes of a diplomat, ambassador and father, representing his country during times, and in places, of significant challenge and change.

We can't wait to see you there!
