Come to Dunedin Derby's first Learn to Skate session for 2026 and have a go!No Experience? No problem!
This is a fun, no-pressure environment to try skating for the first time and see if it's for you, or if you are more comfortable on skates, to reacclimatise yourself to 8-wheels and have a chat with our coaches about roller derby.
This is the start of our new skater intake! Learn to Skate will run on Sundays 1-3pm, with some additional trainings as we progress.
Once you've completed this program, the opportunity will open for you to join one of our roller derby teams, or become a referee.
