About this Event
Get sewing with some basic stitches while making your own monster plush using our Monstorium DIY kit!
- We'll be there to help you along the way with your felt monster customization
- You’ll sew on the features you want!
- Beginner level stitching and sewing
- Ages for 16 and up, minors must be accompanied by ticketed parent
One Monstorium DIY kit included per ticket
- Body design, cutout face parts, thread, needle,etc.
- Drinks and snacks included
- Limited to 10 seats, $35 per ticket
Pick up your completed (sewn, stuffed, and closed) monster the following weekend and get a special gift!
- Some additional details about experiences at Cocoon:
- We host private events, after the day's normal business hours
- Snacks and refreshments included
- Enjoy your experience with a small group of people
- Before and after the event, get a private shopping experience at Cocoon Art Space
- Get an intimate art viewing with a small group, up close and personal

Info: Take a seat and collect your DIY Monster kit!

Design and draw your monster!
Info: Use the guide and examples included in you DIY MONSTER kit with the help of the workshop's facilitators.
🕑: 05:30 PM - 06:00 PM
Learn you sewing stitches!
Info: A couple of stitches are all you will need to be on your way to sewing your monster together. Threading the needle is possibly the most difficult part of the entire process!

Assemble your monster's features
Info: Using your monster design, you will sew the cut felt pieces to your monster...slowly bringing it to life! Once all of the parts and pieces are attached, we will keep your monster for the week to close the front and back of the body together.
It's Alive!
Info: Return to Cocoon Art Space the following weekend to collect your finished monster!
