Join us for an immersive weekend workshop dedicated to the art of crafting beautiful and detailed watercolor portraits. Together we will paint a portrait of the captivating and iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
Guided by an experienced instructor, you'll delve into the process of creating a portrait, with each step thoughtfully demonstrated for optimal learning.
On this workshop there is only 8 available seats, to ensure that every student get’s the best possible attention for optimal learning.
Throughout this workshop, you'll master the technique of layering to add depth and dimension to your portrait, honing your skills in manipulating shadows and light to achieve lifelike effects. Discover the nuances of mixing skin tones and learning how to create subtle details that will lift your portrait skills to the next level.
This workshop is for people who already have some experience with watercolor. You are welcome if you have completed minimum 5 weeks of the watercolor course in Art Escape Studio or have attended other watercolor courses and know some of the most fundamental watercolor techniques.
Over the course of each day, you'll immerse yourself in the creative process, with a lunch break around 12.30 - 1.00 to recharge and connect with fellow artists.
