CORCA are proud to announce our upcoming Learn to Mountain Bike program, supported by Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Learn the basic mountain bike skills to have fun and ride safer on the trails.
All new riders must sign up for a free Auscycling 1 month trial membership or take advantage of the half price full insurance membership offer before tickets can be purchased. Please enter your AusCycling membership number in the EventBrite form.
Free Bike hire available if required, please let us know ASAP.
What: We are offering a half day of learning basic mountain bike skills from accredited coaches, followed by a supported and guided ride through the Sugarbag trails.
When: Saturday 16th May 07:30am until 12:00pm followed by lunch at the Declans Cafe.
Where: Sugarbag Road Mountain bike trails - Sugarbag road, Caloundra.
Who: 40 Participants total.
Groups of 10 each: Children aged 9-13, Women's specific group, Over 50's Group, Adults Generl group. (Group structure and size is subject to change depending on demand).
Cost: $10 Booking and administration fee.
All riders must wear an Australian approved helmet and closed in shoes. Riders need to be on a bike in good working order with working brakes. Bike hire can be arranged included in fee, please specify rider height if needed.
Riders should carry water for the ride and a snack if required.
Riders need to have Auscycling membership for insurance purposes for CORCA events. You can get started with a free Auscycling 1 month trial membership today.
