Led by Heidi Lucas.Join Heidi for a cozy morning, discovering the increasingly popular craft of crochet. In this relaxed absolute beginner’s workshop, we will be making a lovely warm neck cowl to take home and enjoy.
You will learn the basics to start you on your crochet journey - the slip knot, foundation chain, single crochet stitch, and how to finish your work. There will be plenty of one-on-one guidance in this small group. Have fun and learn something new!
Heidi Lucas has worked in community arts for 25 years, and has a love for textiles.
Heidi has been involved in many wonderful community arts experiences in Whakatū including as Project Lead for the Nelson City Crochet Canopy Project.
