Gnocchi began in Northern Italy, where potatoes grew better than grain. Because of this, cooks created soft dumplings that became beloved around the world. In this class, Innkeeper Julie Webb shows you how to turn simple ingredients into tender, pillowy gnocchi.
Julie guides you through each step with clarity and warmth. She teaches you how to mix, roll, cut, and shape gnocchi by hand. Her approach keeps the process approachable while preserving its authentic charm.
Make Fresh Pesto With Farm Ingredients
After preparing your gnocchi, Julie demonstrates how to create a fresh pesto sauce. She uses basil grown in the Mary’s Land Farm greenhouse and combines it with our signature Secolari Olive Oil. The result is a bright, fragrant sauce that pairs beautifully with your handcrafted gnocchi.
You will also prepare a seasonal farm salad. Julie walks you through making a homemade vinaigrette using Secolari Olive Oils and Vinegars. These steps show how fresh ingredients transform everyday meals.
