About this Event
Learn the ancient ritual of Making Matzah
Join Zoe Food Party and Little City Farm LA, with support from Honeymoon Israel, for a hands-on Passover learning experience on April 1, 10 AM - 1 PM.
This isn’t just baking. It’s a connected, ancestral Jewish ritual. Harvest fresh herbs from the farm - rosemary, oregano, sage, nasturtium flowers - to make unique handmade matzah for your Passover Seder, baked in our wood-fired oven.
Space is limited.
ABOUT ZOE:
Zoë Komarin likes to call herself a Food Curator. As the creator of ZoeFoodParty; a pop-up concept that allows her to bridge her love of cooking, community, and art, Zoë puts the emphasis on shared experiences and getting messy over all else. Her LA based pop-ups have created a buzz over the years, often featuring addictive & unique combinations of flavors and collaborative cooking at the root of it all. Her goal is visceral eating with the added bonus of human connectivity and if you are lucky, a rare amount of eye contact.
ABOUT LITTLE CITY FARM:
Little City Farm LA was founded by Jenny Silbert to grow food for her family, and has grown into an experimental urban farm hosting zero waste events, cultivating community and sharing earth knowledge. It's a special space for gathering in the heart of Los Angeles, and rooted in the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world.
