Beginner Wheel ThrowingStep up to the wheel and let your creative journey begin—whether you're a complete beginner or returning to the craft after some time away. This 7-session class is your gateway into the world of clay, where each spin of the wheel transforms raw earth into art.
What You'll Learn:
• Studio Safety: Master the essential safety practices that keep our creative space as inspiring as it is secure.
• Wheel Techniques: Discover the proper hand positions to create cylinders, bowls, and cups, along with the art of adding attachments to personalize your pieces.
• Glazing Basics: General glazing will be discussed and practiced to bring color and life to your pottery.
Class Details:
• Cost: $200
• When: Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 7:00 to 9:30 PM.
• Dates: March 11, 13, 18, 20, 27 and April 1, 3
• Location: 2202 Grand Ave., Wausau, WI
• Note: No makeup classes will be offered.

You'll also have access to the studio during regular business hours when other classes are not in session—a quiet time to let your creativity flow freely.

What to Bring and Wear:
Wear something you don’t mind if it gets dirty. The clay washes out of your clothes. Bring an old towel to wipe your hands and a non-alcoholic beverage.
