This Chef and Cookbook Author certainly influenced the way Texans ate and entertained and rightfully earned the title of Grand Dame of Texas Cookery after spending nearly 40 years in The Lone Star State. You'll learn a little about our culinary history and influences in this one hour, lunch-time class.

About Helen Corbitt:

After eight years of persuasion by Stanley Marcus, Helen Corbitt became the director of Neiman Marcus food services and remained with the company for 20 years. She had previously worked at Skidmore College, Presbyterian Hospital in New Jersey, Cornell Medical Center, University of Texas, Houston Country Club, Garden Room at Joske's, and the Driskell Hotel in Austin.

• You will receive an email with a link to a waiver two (2) days prior to the class. We ask you return a signed copy of the waiver for each attendee via email prior to class.
• Classes are limited to a maximum of two hours. For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed time of the class.
