Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) are excited to announce a series of six fundraising online art classes with the amazing Safia Ali this October and November. These classes will guide you through the process of drawing various Islamic geometric patterns from across the Islamic world using a compass and straightedge, just as artisans and geometers have done for centuries.
Each class requires a donation of £10, or you can book all six classes for a donation of £50.
Participants will receive a step-by-step PDF guide and a Zoom link the day before each class. Please check your junk mail or spam folder if you do not receive them.
Materials needed for each class:
- Plain A4 paper
- Compass
- Sharp pencil
- Ruler
- Sharpener
- Eraser
- Fine liner pens
- Colouring pens and pencils.
