Do you want to learn Icelandic or practice your Icelandic?Come join us at Kabarett for weekly sessions where you can step up your Icelandic with some guidance.
The session will then merge into our International Meetup!
The venue offers twenty taps of craft beer & mead, a delicious Mexican fusion kitchen, as well as soft drinks, coffee and tea so there is something for everyone.
Entry is FREE!
The kitchen serves food until 9pm. The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is a gender-neutral bathroom available.
DETAILS:
It is ok to show up a bit earlier (at 17:00) and get help with your Icelandic from the host, but to allow people time to leave work, the event officially starts at 17:30. The evening will start with a meet and greet and an introduction on how to use LingQ to learn Icelandic in your spare time. We will then start learning Icelandic by having to use it verbally, in a playful way, through games and communication. This will be a learn by doing approach, not a typical classroom session.
If you like, you can then stay for the International meet and greet and language learning event, where you can either continue to practice your Icelandic, learn another language, help others learn yours or just socialize. See: https://www.facebook.com/events/896783972931517
