About this Event
In these classes you will not only learn how to craft various types of pieces, but you will also learn about the business of clay crafting.
My courses will give you the skills, techniques, and tools you need whether you have some experience in working with clay or you are new to this craft. This is designed to not only equip you with hands-on skills but to also prepare you for starting your own business.
With enormous amounts of business opportunities online for artisans, and with Vancouver being a bustling city of galleries, artist fairs, and craft shops that welcome local artisans to partner with them, there is no better time than right now to get started with your very own craft business.
I am a professional artist of over 20 years with a specialization in clay crafts and painting. I hold a certificate from Harvard Business School in Design Thinking and Innovation. I have worked with all kinds of clay including polymer, air dry clay, ceramic, and paper clay. I have also taught students from various parts of the world.
If you are ready to learn something valuable and develop a new skill that will keep you creative and bring out the entrepreneur in you then my course is for you.
I provide in-studio training at my studio in False Creek, near Granville Island. I also offer some free air dry clay for your first class to get you started.
