Come and celebrate the International Women's day by creating your own inspirational piece of artThe Learn and Create workshop takes you on a journey of self-exploration where you’ll create your very own unique work of art. The workshop is designed to be a fun and empowering experience for young girls, using art to explore the lives and work of great women who’ve come before us and to find our own inspiration.
Women don’t have to be famous to be inspiring, the collage could be based on your favourite teacher, friend, sports coach, auntie or parent, the idea is to celebrate the person you admire and understand the reasons why they are so inspirational.
Lucie will help spark your imagination and provide all the materials you need to bring your ideas to life.
Please bring a photo or photocopies of women you find inspirational.
At the end of this workshop, you will take home your paper collage on A2 size canvas, varnished with clear coat.
All materials provided.
