Let It Be Us offers a series of virtual educational events on topics surrounding Foster Care and Adoption in the State of Illinois. Our Live Foster Parent Recruitment Events are the in-person portion of this series.

Let It Be Us invites you to a free, no-pressure in-person event to learn how you can make a difference in the life of a child or teen in your community on Thursday, September 18th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park & Lutheran Campus Ministry - 5500 S Woodlawn Ave, Chicago, IL 60637.
At this event, you will learn:

- How the licensing process works
- The different types of foster care
- How Let It Be Us supports you every step of the way
Whether you’re just curious or ready to take the next step, this is a welcoming space to get started. Come meet our team, ask questions, and connect with others who share your passion. Snacks and great conversations are provided. We can’t wait to meet you!
