About the Speaker:

Dr. Andy Gold is a Clinical Professor at Lehman College's School of Business, dedicated to innovation and social impact through experiential education and entrepreneurship.

Lehman College

A New York City native, Dr. Gold has over 23 years of experience in social entrepreneurship, having founded several successful ventures.

He spent 12 years on Wall Street as a technical market strategist and co-founded a hedge fund that raised $52 million in capital.

In academia, Dr. Gold served as a tenured faculty member at Hillsborough Community College (HCC), where he co-founded the nationally recognized Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program and co-created a Veterans Entrepreneurship Training Program in partnership with Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families.

He has also taught graduate courses at the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida.

Dr. Gold co-authored "Community Colleges as Incubators of Innovation" (2019) and "Impact ED" (2020), exploring community colleges' role in economic and social progress.

He holds an MS in International Business from Manhattanville College and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University.
