This session builds directly on our last Lean Coffee conversation around deep reflection and leading with intent. If reflection helps us understand why we do the work, strategy and planning determine how that intent shows up when pressure is applied.

The discussion will explore why many strategies fail—not because teams lack smart people or good intentions, but because strategy is often formed without enough clarity, alignment, or shared understanding. What looks solid in theory can quickly unravel once execution begins and priorities compete.

Lean Coffee uses an agenda-less, participant-driven format designed to surface the topics that matter most to the group. At the start of the session, attendees propose discussion topics, briefly explain them, and then collectively prioritize what to talk about.

Conversations are time-boxed to keep discussion focused and respectful of everyone’s time. At the end of each time box, the group decides whether to continue the topic or move on. This creates space for deep discussion without letting any single topic dominate.
