About this Event
In this workshop you will get hands on and learn macrame; how to knot cord into art. You will be taught how to make elegant macrame leaves which will become a triple leaf wall hanging that is perfect for your home or to be given as a gift! This is great workshop for beginners or anyone looking to unwind and create.
Heidi is a local artist in Grand Forks specializing in working with fibres. Heidi's work plays with the colour and beauty of nature, creating charming tactile pieces. Creating by knitting, spinning, sewing, or mending is where Heidi feels best and connects her to her surroundings. She has been making macrame leaves for the last five years and has taught workshops in Grand Forks and Christina Lake.
