About this Event
Come get your hands dirty as we explore urban farming in the heart of Tucson. Follow along the journey from seed to plate, while learning how the climate affects what and how you eat. Campers will get to cook up some unique recipes with ingredients native to the southwest, learn how to expand their tastes, and practice responsible ways to contribute to the environment around them. By the end of the week, campers will learn tools to help garden from home, eat consciously, and shape their future of food. This camp will take place at our state-of-the-art kitchen at our 4-H Healthy Living Center located at 2201 E. Roger Rd.
